Amy Raulerson, M.A., L.P.C.

Amy L. Raulerson is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, she uses eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients alleviate symptoms of distress that may come from traumatic events, anxiety, and depression.

Amy takes an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating somatic exercises and in-session practices into traditional talk therapy. All of these interventions and modalities are evidenced-based and tailored to address the specific needs of each client.

After earning a Master’s degree in Counseling Education from the University of Iowa, Amy began her career as a youth educator specializing in substance abuse prevention. Since then she has worked in many areas of mental health, from tobacco cessation and addiction counseling to family-based therapy. Before moving into private practice in 2020 Amy worked at Western Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh, serving people with chronic and severe mental illness.

In her personal life, she is an avid crafter and nature lover.
